Traditional Techniques

The turning process is entirely manual. A solid piece of selected wood, known as a blank, is cut, drilled, and mounted onto a lathe mandrel. Using sharp wood chisels, the craftsman shapes the contours of the pen body by eye, feeling the subtle resistance of the wood grain.

After shaping, the wood is sanded down through multiple grits of micro-mesh, polished with organic carnauba and beeswax, and pressed with high-quality brass, chrome, or gold-plated metal mechanisms. This painstaking process ensures that the natural beauty of the wood is preserved and protected for decades of daily writing.
